U4GM Where to Find and Disable the Old EMP Trap ARC Raiders

Příspěvek od Alam560 »

If you've just taken Straight Record from Celeste, don't waste your first five minutes jogging in circles. I always check my spawn and decide fast—commit or bail. The Dam Battlegrounds is huge, and crossing it for one objective is how people lose kits. If you're gearing up, it's worth knowing what's valuable and what you can replace later, so I keep a quick reference open for ARC Raiders Items and plan my run around what I actually need. The old EMP trap you're after sits in Victory Ridge on the north side, and getting there alive is the real mission.

Getting Your Bearings
Victory Ridge is the target area, but you're not looking for a big marker or anything obvious. Aim to land between the West Broken Bridge and the Ruby Residence. From there, think of it as west of Generator Hall and just above the Hydroponics Dome Complex. The trap itself is a small radio-looking device with an antenna, sitting in a clearing like it got dropped by accident. You'll spot it and go, "Right, that's definitely the thing." Don't celebrate yet, though—you still need to cut power with three switches before you get credit.

Switch One: The Ridge
Stand at the EMP trap and face north. You'll see a ridge climbing up ahead. That's your first stop. Scramble up the slope and look for a glowing power box at the top. It's usually the easiest of the three, but it's also where people get sloppy. Listen for footsteps, don't silhouette yourself, and hit the box quickly. Flip it, then drop back down and reset your awareness before you move, because a lot of teams sweep this ridge while rotating.

Switch Two and Three: Ruins and Cable Trail
The second switch is to the east, inside the wrecked buildings. Here's the trick: you can't reach it from street level. You need the second floor. Find the narrow pipe that links parts of the ruin and walk it across—yeah, it feels awful, and you're exposed the whole time. Take a breath, check sightlines, then commit. For the third switch, head south toward the Hydroponics Dome, but keep your eyes down. There's a thick power cable running along the dirt. Follow that cable and it'll lead you straight to the last box, like a breadcrumb trail back to the trap.

Finish Up and Get Paid
Once all three switches are flipped, return to the device in the clearing and interact with it again to shut the trap down for good. After that, play it smart—rotate for extraction instead of lingering, because the area draws attention and ARC patrols don't care that you're "done." When you make it out, Celeste rewards 5 Medium Gun Parts and 3 Advanced Mechanical Components, which are genuinely useful for upgrades. If you're short on gear or just want to skip the scavenging grind on future runs, a lot of players also use U4gm to buy game currency or items and round out their loadouts before dropping back in, so you can focus on surviving the ridge rather than scraping together parts.
